DEANNE BRAY OF SUE THOMAS FBEye IS THE CELSIGN 2006 EMCEE!!

Gate Communications could not be any more excited than to have Deanne Bray of the hit TV Series Sue Thomas FBEye serve as our Mistress of Ceremonies at CelSign 2006! http://www.ionline.tv/shows/suethoma/ Most of America fell in love with Deanne as she performed her lead role of a Deaf FBI agent based on the real life story of Sue Thomas, now a nationally reknown deaf speaker. Deanne has appeared in a variety of shows such as: CSI, Pretender, Strong Medicine, What Do Women Want, Diagnosis Murder, & Ellen. She has been Deaf since birth and is now married to Deaf actor Troy Kotsur who appeared in Sue Thomas as well, and is himself acclaimed for his role in the hit Broadway play Big River.

Don't forget CelSign auditions are coming in 3 weeks. As time gets closer you are approaching your last chance to sign up for auditions. If you have a musical, dramatic, dance, comedy, storytelling, or mime performance ready, contact our office to audition! YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE LOCAL TO AUDITION! People are already signed up from the East to the West coast! Make sure your performance has a bit of Sign Language involved, and you are ready to audition! The Celebration of Sign is a celebration of Sign Language in the Arts. Joining us on stage in past years has been Grammy Award Winning Artists (who often Signed their songs for the audiences), and Deaf Community Performers such as Miss Deaf America, Miss Teen International, Kiko the Mime, and Terrylene. This event encourages Deaf and Hearing performers to use Sign in music, dance, drama, film, and storytelling, as well as perform using Deaf Cultural Artistic forms such as miming.

CelSign draws hundreds upon hundreds of members of the Deaf Community from as many as 9 states. If you want your organization/college/event to be seen by the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, or Hearing Members of the Deaf Community (Interpreters / Students, etc) this is a key place to advertise!

EVENT LOCATION:

The event is held in an incredible theatre at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center. The theatre seats 1200 and has featured numbers of national touring groups. The main stage at TPAC holds all of Middle Tennessee's Broadway Shows. We are honored to be in this theatre! Want to take a sneak peak?
