Ages: Families - Ages 5 and up. All children must be accompanied
by an adult (limit of 2 children per accompanying adult).

Are Signing Skills Required?
Yes, for Interpreting and Care Taker positions. For Ticketing and Runners, Signing skills are helpful but not required.

Do interpreters have to be certified?
No. Interpreters need to be qualified to interpret the event they are assigned to interpret but certification is not required.

What preparatory information is provided for interpreters?
Gate will provide a folder with a summation of the animals or exhibits each interpreter is interpreting. Links will be sent in advance.

What is the time commitment?
We request all volunteers be available for a minimum of 4 hours during the day.
