Quick Answers:

Is this too good to be true?
No it isn't. :) Gate developed this process for hosting which we knew would be easy to manage. We have held these workshops literally from coast to coast, and the response has always been the same... "Can this be true?" Yes, it is this easy! Everybody benefits!

Is there a minimum attendance?
Yes, there is. This helps protect Gate from incurring a huge financial loss. The minimums are not large, and if you advertise, you will meet your minimum, even if you live & work in a rural area. Gate has never had a workshop fall below their minimum attendance so it is safe and effective. Minimum attendance requirements are based on mileage found on Google Maps or Map Quest from Nashville to the location of the event.

Is there a contract which needs to be signed?
Gate does have a short and uncomplicated "Hosting Agreement". This agreement defines Gate's responsibilities, the hosts responsibilities, cancellation policies, etc.

Can a company pay for the entire workshop and host it as a company inservice?
Yes. On occasion Gate does create a unique contract to provide inservice training. We have been summoned to do part or all of this workshop specifically for an inservice, and are happy to do that upon request. Gate does accept P. O.'s.

What do individuals pay for the workshops?
Pre-registration/Standard Registration 2 Day: Student $60/$70 - Standard $75/$85
Pre-registration/Standard Registration 1 Day: Student $50/$55 - Standard $60/$70
Pre-registration/Standard Registration 3 Hour: Student $30/$35 - Standard $40/$45

How much time does Gate need in order to prepare for the workshop?
Gate is flexible. Some individuals advertise for a very short period of time, but we prefer of course to have more time than not. We encourage one full month of advertising, although 6 weeks is ideal. Gate hence requests a signed Hosting Agreement be in our office 7 weeks prior to your chosen workshop date. It is not a hard and fast rule, and we have done it in less time but the more time the better.

Do the hosts receive any additional benefits?
Gate will advertise your company, school, agency, etc in print, electronic, and web formats. Hosts will also receive on site acknowledgements. Hosts all receive one free registration which can be used for themselves or others.

Are there any limitations to travel?
Technically, no. Gate does prefer to drive to your location which sometimes, for extremely long distance workshops, means we will attempt to group several workshops together allowing us to hit several states in tour segment. Road travel also means any workshops held in northern territories need to be held when there is no risk of snow. Our presenter, who is behind the wheel most trips, is from San Diego and is, she she calls it, a "weather wimp". Ice and snow are not her favorite environments for travel. Any northern workshop wanting to be held in winter months, can be held if the instructor travels by plane. Those specific dates can be discussed with the scheduling coordinator.
