Where do my financial donations go?
You can make a personal request to the area of service you would like to support. Specific areas of service are:

• Accessible Events
• Sign Language Scholarships
• The Barnabas Project
• Deaf Missions

In addition, Gate needs regular donations to our GENERAL FUND. If you donate to the general fund your support would be distributed to the areas most needed.

Does Gate need more than just financial donations?
YES! Gate needs a variety of practical donations.

1. We regularly support Con Mis Manos a Mexican Deaf school in Matamoros, MX. The school has a CLOTHING PANTRY where clothes are distributed to the families and children in the school and community. Feel free to drop off your gently used clothes at the Gate Communications office and they will be delivered to the school.

2. Gate appreciates In Kind donations as well. What type of donations? Laptop Computers, Office Furniture, Gift Cards to WalMart, etc.

3. The Barnabas Project always has a need to re-stock the Barnabas Closet. Gifts that support this ministry of encouragement are items such as: hot chocolate, boxes of specialized teas, Willow Tree figurines, candy, home made goodies, etc.

Can I donate gifts in honor or in memory of someone?
Yes you can! If you donate in honor of someone, contact our office and let us know the name of the person you are donating in honor of and we will send them a personal card/certificate emphasizing the thoughtful donation. If you donate in memory of a loved one, submit their picture and bio to us, and we will place them on our memorial page.
