Gate interpreters interpret locally and nationally.
ARE GATE'S INTERPRETERS NATIONALLY CERTIFIED?
Yes, many of Gate's interpreters are nationally certified by RID or NAD. We do look at certification, or progression toward certification, as a factor when hiring our freelance interpreters. Skills are the primary deciding factor.
DO GATE'S INTERPRETERS MAINTAIN RID STANDARDS WITH THE CODE OF PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT?

WHAT LANGUAGES OR SIGN SYSTEMS DO GATE INTERPRETERS USE?
Gate's interpreters are trained in ASL and CONTACT and additionally provide Oral and Tactile interpreting services upon request. They follow RID's standards to provide equivalent interpreting services individualized for the needs of the consumers. Gate works with all types of consumers ranging from the Hard of Hearing to the Deaf and Blind.
