We can help! Gate Communications works
regularly with a school for the deaf in Matamoros,
Tamulipas, Mexico. Matamoros sits on the direct southern
border of Brownsville, Texas. One would think this Mexican
border town would be an accessible environment for the Deaf,
however, the Deaf in this town have little to nothing in the way of
education, accessibility, support services, or even respect from the community. Gate wants to change that. We have teamed with the leaders of Con Mis Manos to educate and minister to the Deaf children and adults of Matamoros. Interested in getting involved?
