WE WANT TO HELP!
Are you a full time contract interpreter currently out of work because of the COVID-19 scare? We want to help! We are raising funds to assist contract interpreters through the provision of grocery store gift cards. Although we don't have endless funds to assist with every financial need, we can help with groceries!
Read below to see if you qualify.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CICF GIFT CARD:
- Interpreters must be professional paid full time contract interpreters
- Interpreters must be the primary or sole income in the household
- Interpreters must have no other source of income (ie: VRS / VI work or other personal income)
- Interpreters must have a critical need for financial assistance
Approved qualifying interpreters will receive $50 grocery gift cards as they become available. Gift cards will be sent via the mail or email.
If an excessive amount of donations become available, this program may be extended to include support for additional needs.

Like most small businesses Gate Communications has been affected by the COVID-19 crisis. We have lost between 2/3 and 3/4 of our income in a matter of a week. With that in mind, support for our programs and services through donations is more critical than ever.
